I don’t know if it’s because it’s January, but I’m tired, really tired at the minute and just do not want to leave the house. However, whilst curled up in a ball on the sofa, I don’t want to look like something off The Walking Dead. This is when lounge wear comes in, clothes that are super comfy but are fabulous enough to answer the door in, or even run round to pick the kids up from school in! Clever! A lot of the high street stores are cottoning on to this and have brilliant collections this season. The t-shirt above may look boring but trust me, this colour goes with everything, looks expensive on and it is the perfect loose fit. Slogan jumpers are still going strong, and for the tea drinkers (me) this is fabulous, size up though for that perfect slouchy fit. I got a 14 and I’m a size 10 normally. Other bits I am coveting are these bargain joggers from Gap (in grey), I will not, however, be wearing them with boots as modelled, they will be with either my Stan Smiths or some comfy slippers like these (these are a rather grand copy , in the chestnut colour). These also in the Gap sale (I have them in the black and love them). I love this jumpsuit from ASOS white (this collection is just so good), these joggers from Boden, these from Marks and Spencer’s, and these loose trousers, again from Boden. The key to lounge wear looking cool, is to dress it like you would jeans, tuck the t-shirt in, add a boyfriend cardigan over it, layer on a scarf, wear your bobble hat.
