Concealer…

Concealer is one of the most important (in my humble opinion) make-up items. It helps to hide dark circles, spots and discolouration, what’s not to love? If it’s applied properly it has a dramatic effect on your face. You need to choose one in one shade lighter than your natural skin-tone for it to really work. Here are some of my favourite cheap and cheerful concealers from the high street.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer £7.99

This concealer has a thick consistency but is still easy to blend into skin. It brightens tired skin by drying natural, not shimmery and gives a glowy finish. Its good for under eye circles as well as covering small spots.

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer £5.99

This comes in 6 shades and offers good coverage, so if you don’t want a full face of foundation this is a good option. A little goes a long way and it sets really well giving long-lasting coverage.

Rimmel Match Perfection Illuminating Concealer £5.99

This is not as thick as the others so doesn’t completely cover dark under eye circles but its perfect for covering fine lines in a natural way due to its light-reflecting pigments. I use a little under eyes and around nose and mouth to give a good even toned finish.

Revlon Colour stay Concealer £6.99

This is really good for oily skin that needs coverage that won’t come off throughout the day. It’s also a good summer concealer as it has a long-lasting formula that stays on.
