It’s got to the time of year when I no longer reach for my ballet flats in the morning to get dressed, it’s cold and miserable where I am so I want to feel warm and cosy. More and more I am reaching for my winter boots. Boots for me need to go with every outfit, be hard wearing but at the same time look cool. For me burgundy boots do this, they are just that little bit different but can be used as a neutral to go with all outfits. They say to me that the wearer is confident and is wanting to add some uniqueness to their outfit as not every woman will be brave enough to wear them. The above ones are fab from ASOS but there are not many sizes left so be quick! I am also loving these, these, these, these and finally these. The cardigan is fabulous by the way. I was in Uniqlo last week and was checking out all the colours. I would wear it open over the white tee and have the peacoat over them. Lovely layers to keep you cosy but chic.
