Bobby and Daisy’s favourite baby books (0-3)…

Daisy and Bobby have always loved books and the following ones were a few of their favourites when they were babies.

1. Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? By Eric Carle: Such a lovely book and great for teaching colours and animals. Both of mine really loved this book. A rhythmic story with repetitive language to keep the little ones engaged.

2. Dear Zoo By Rod Campbell:  This is such a lovely and clever interactive book with flaps that I would highly recommend for little people. Great illustrations and educational whilst being fun. This was always a favourite and Bobby will often still choose this at bedtime.

3. The Very Busy Spider By Eric Carle: A beautiful and classic picture book. This book is about a spider that spins a web all day. Very colourful illustrations introducing children to what animals do all day. You can also touch the spiders web. Eric Carle’s other book The Very Hungry Caterpillar [Board Book] is also great and is still a book my two constantly go back to.

4. My Animals By Xavier Deneux: This is a 1st baby book, it’s black and white so they love it, its sturdy and beautifully presented and has a gap in each animal so you can view the previous picture. It’s also fun to make the animal noises. Definitely recommended.
