Homeschooling activities for all ages…

It’s starting to look like that for many of us we are going to be in our homes for the forseeable future homeschooling our little ones. When the sun comes out my kids will be encouraged to get in the garden but I know for many this isn’t a possibility and the weather today doesn’t seem to be playing.  Daisy and I thought we would share some of our favourite activity books. We have covered all the bases. Books the kids liked when they were little all the way to ones that they enjoy now.

Daisy’s favourite has to be this one about taking photos with her phone. I love it as it gets her being inventive and she gets Bobby involved. When she was little these were always her go to. Hours of fun with stickers.

Bobby loves this book as he is defintely a fan of making things.

I’m trying to pick favourites here but they have loved them all as they are so different. Daisy loves a doodle and Bobby a brain teaser.

Dobble is always a hit as is Uno. Anthing to keep their minds ticking and keep them off their screens.

However I do realise that screens will become a godsend with helping to educate our kids and some fab resources that my friend Nicolette from @archieandtherug on Instagram shared with me are:

The Imagination tree has lots of great ideas for little ones, mainly preschoolers, but I’ll probably be using the playdough recipe for my 11 & 8 year old soon… who doesn’t love play dough?
